What is the Open Enrollment Period?

The Open Enrollment period is a period of time, determined by your employer, during which you are allowed to make any changes to your current benefits.

When are the benefits effective and for how long?

The benefits are effective January 1, 2023 through December 31, 2023.

Do I need to enroll?

If you are currently enrolled in a Cigna (OAP High, OAP Standard or SureFit) healthcare plan and/or Flexible Benefits and you would like to continue your benefit for the 2023 plan year, you DO NOT need to re-enroll. Your current coverage and your dependent(s)’ coverage will continue. Plan design and premiums changes will automatically be applied, as applicable.

What changes can I make during this enrollment period?

You could change your current medical and/or flexible benefits plan(s), add an eligible dependent or delete a currently covered dependent.

How do I enroll?

We are excited to introduce an online self-service benefits enrollment platform. You must have your employee ID and your confidential PIN. Your PIN is the last 4 digits of your SSN + the last 2 digits of your birth year. Visit https://transamerica.benselect.com/MDCPS to complete your online enrollment.

As we transition to an online self-service benefits enrollment platform, should you want to receive an enrollment form this year via mail, contact the FBMC Service Center at 1-855-632-7748, Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., ET, before the enrollment deadline of November 15, 2022.
